Your big day will be historic at Thornton Distilling Company. Located 25 miles south of the Chicago Loop in the sleepy little village of Thornton, IL, it is the oldest standing brewery (c.1857) in the area.

Since their launch in 2019, they have hosted hundreds of private events in their historic 20,000-square-foot structure, from luxury weddings and fundraisers to anniversary parties and birthday celebrations.

Their award-winning Craft Cocktail & Dining Program offers custom packages that can be tailored to fit a range of events, styles, and budgets.

The 4,000 square foot hall has a capacity of 250 guests for cocktail receptions, or 150 guests seated for a reception or ceremony. Polished concrete floors and exposed brick and beams lend a warm industrial feel, while the original brewery skylight bathes the setting in natural light. This hall is perfectly suited for receptions, thanks to the full craft cocktail bar.

Cooper’s Hall can accommodate between 25-250 guests. More intimate gatherings can be held in Distiller’s Hall, which has a seating capacity of 135. It overlooks the production distillery on the ground level and has access to the solid limestone cocktail bar, The Well and the ground-level outdoor patio space.

Ceremony space and wooden wedding arch are included with all wedding packages. All packages also include seating, tables and linen at no additional cost. Free Parking is conveniently located just a few steps away in the rear parking lot.
